Despite our work and the community impact achieved over the last 17 years we are relatively unknown – this is because we support other charities and community groups rather than promote ourselves.
Also until recently, government funding helped to support most of our administrative costs so we were focused on grant making rather than income generating. Now we are in different times and we have a great message to share through our Friends – we connect local people to local causes.
Friends of the Foundation receive regular newsletter updates, invites to events and a chance to get involved with grassroots projects of interest on a volunteer basis. They are also our advocates – raising awareness and support of what we do and signposting groups to the help available.
If you would like more information on becoming a friend please contact us on 01202 670815 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We ask our Friends to make an annual donation of at least £50 or give a £500 donation to become a Life Friend.
