Dorset Fund

With over half of our beautiful county designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty many Dorset residents feel privileged to live in this part of the world. However, not all are equally fortunate.

Dorset Fund

The findings from our Hidden Dorset Report highlight some of the more important issues facing local communities. These include:

The Dorset Fund was set up to help raise awareness and provide funding to support local charities, community groups and individuals who are addressing these needs. It provides an opportunity for individuals, companies and trusts to invest in a better tomorrow by making a donation or leaving a legacy to the Dorset Fund.

Anyone who loves Dorset has the opportunity to invest in a better tomorrow by making a donation or leaving a legacy to the Dorset Fund.

The Dorset Fund will continue to support issues affecting our local communities for generations to come, bringing together donations of all sizes to deliver grants to a range of causes across Dorset.

One off and Regular Donations to the Dorset Fund

The Dorset Fund accepts donations of all sizes which are dispersed as grants to groups and individuals on annual basis. Alternatively, they can be invested in endowment to provide a sustainable funding source for future generations.

Leave a Legacy to the Dorset Fund

Leaving a legacy to the Dorset Fund will enable you to leave a gift in your Will that will make a difference to Dorset residents long after you are gone. All legacies that are left to the Dorset Fund will go into the endowment side of the Fund and the yield from their investment will be distributed in the form of grants annually.

In this way your charitable bequest will live in perpetuity supporting those most in need.
