Living Legacy Fund

The Living Legacy Fund was created to help the charitable organisations in the BCP area, by funding services and activities that bring people together to support one another, providing healthy social activities, and supporting locals’ personal aspirations and skills.

The fund, which is supported by BCP Council and the Talbot Village Trust, supported 22 groups in its first grant round, with nearly £100,000 in grants provided. The Paul Cornes Fund, which was set up with the community foundation in memory of businessman Paul Cornes, also supports the fund.

Among the first recipients was Townsend Youth Partnership, which used a £5,000 grant to run the Innovation Hub, and a weekly art project designed to encourage up to 50 young people to share their frustrations and anxieties through art.
