Grants for Individuals

DCF Bursary Scheme, Superior STEM Bursary Fund, The Dorset Performing Arts Bursary and the Lord-Lieutenant's Fund for Young and Talented.

We have four grant programmes to support young people reach their full potential.

Grants for Individuals

The DCF Bursary Scheme supports young people who want to access vocational training and the Superior STEM Bursary Fund supports students taking STEM subjects. Both are open to young people aged between 16-25 living in Dorset (STEM limited to certain areas of Dorset), Bournemouth or Poole.

The Dorset Performing Arts Bursary supports young people (14-21) with a recognised  performing arts talent.

The Lord-Lieutenant’s Fund for Young and Talented supports young people (14-21) with a variety of talents and we are currently focusing on supporting those with an exceptional sporting talent.

Below you will find the criteria and guidance for each grant programme – please check carefully to make sure you are eligible for funding before applying.

We normally send out a grant alert when we re-open a fund or launch a new funding programme, so please ensure you are signed up for our Grant Alert (bottom of each page).
