The grant funded a new staff member for the Ace of Spades gardening project. The members of the community the group helps are physically disabled, single parents, mentally ill, or elderly and physically unable to undertake the work required.

The project provides volunteers with real work experience where new skills can be learnt. It also provides great social inclusion opportunities.
