Mark Wallis, Commercial Director at Superior, explained: ’We are very pleased to be supporting such a great initiative. Our county is full of talented young people and having financial difficulties or a disability may be a real obstacle to achieving their full potential. We have already set up our own Superior STEM Fund with the Foundation to support students on science, technology, engineering & mathematics courses and with this donation we are extending our support to local young sport stars.’

Jon Yates, Chief Executive at the Foundation explained: ‘We are very thankful for Superior’s ongoing support. The donation will help us fund more local young people competing in a variety of sports. We are also very proud that the young people who we supported earlier in the year are already winning numerous competitions and flying the Dorset flag!’

Jasmine McCrea was one of the young and talented sport stars supported by the Fund in January this year. Last month Jasmin won gold at the British Championships in the 50m free swimming category.

The fund is currently open for applications and will close at noon on 30th August. For more details or to apply please click here.
